23/24 analysis and review.
There is a phenomenal Clubs offer in East Whitby which saw 83% children attending at least one club across the year 23/24. There has been an increase in numbers of SEN and disadvantaged children attending clubs due to targeted invitation. There is a wide range of quality provision linking to Local providers such as Colebrooke Drama, Whitby rugby club and local artists which many children would not necessarily access without school providing. This offer is coherently planned across the year and ties in to events locally too. Children attend the local performing arts festival and win.
All staff in school provide clubs and these are offered to children from Year 1 upwards , EYFS do also attend clubs within their space
Year 5 and 6 children have planned, resourced and lead clubs for younger children too, this has allowed a much wider range of activities as well as providing the older children with incredible opportunities for showing responsibility.
